We arrange exhibitions in unexpected places, outside galleries and studios.
Exhibitions force people to stop just by virtue of arrangement of objects. Our bodies visibly slow down at an exhibition. Whether our minds are there or not, it calls for a slowing down. Arrangement of images, objects, paintings or photographs in a particular order are in fact metaphors towards communicating an idea. When these exhibitions take place in unexpected places, outside galleries and studios, it assumes a new meaning. Inside a gallery, an unexpected display, allows for a new imagination.
